This opens up many more possibilities, such as choosing which side of the island a sound comes from, layering notes on top of each other for singular monsters for intensity and volume, and creating echoes.Ĭurrently, we only have about 15 notes available to use, which is limiting when there are more than double that used in music. The player could also be allowed to place multiple of each monster on the island, like Composer Island in the main game. Instead of having predetermined spots on the island, the player could be able to "purchase" monsters they want to use (for no actual price) and place them anywhere on an enlarged island. The difference is that the ones being removed are the long note duplicates. With the number of monsters not added, it is unlikely we'll be getting all of them, but it would still be fun to have them all nonetheless.Ĥ: Moving Monsters and Having Multiple of Each MonsterĮarlier, I talked about removing duplicate monsters, but here I'm now suggesting to add them in. This could implemented with TTS (text-to-speech), but it is still unlikely. Of course, Werdos are unlikely as well because of their kind of unique ability to sing lyrics. I'm not including the Shugafam because there is an almost impossible chance of them getting in. All the monsters missing are: Fire, Mythical, Magical, Dreamythical, most Rares, all Epics, Supernatural, Aux Seasonals, Celestials, and Werdos. Say, for instance, someone wanted to use a bassoon or a trombone, but neither G'joob nor Strombonin were in the app. There are plenty of monsters in Composer, but some are still missing. Now, this next idea is just my personal preference, but the Quibbles should be in the percussion tab. The icon could be an ellipsis (.) or a question mark (?). Another possible idea is for brass instruments, which could have a trumpet or French horn as it's icon, which will include monsters like Strombonin, Sooza, and Floogull (if they're added) One more idea could be an "other" tab, with monsters like Jeeode (which is a crystallophone). Another could have a gust of wind on it that has wind monsters, such as both Reedlings, Sox, and Bellowfish. One could have a line resembling a heartbeat monitor beep that houses synth monsters, such as Rare Deedge, Ghazt, and Wubbox (if it gets added). My suggestion here is to add at least one new tab. Monsters like Reedling and Jeeode are in the string tab despite not playing string instruments. Not all of the monsters in the string tab are string instruments. Although, there is a small problem with the string section. I would imagine they'd be titled "vocal", "percussion", and "string", respectively. This'll also free up more space for more monsters in the future, which will hopefully be added.Ĭurrently, there are only 3 instrument tabs. My suggestion here is to remove duplicates and silence short notes when a long note begins, like what happens when a short plays after a short. Long notes and short notes also sound slightly different sometimes (this could just be an issue with the sounds used in-game). The third main issue is changing volume, which you have to adjust for both monsters. The second problem is that short notes can echo into long notes, which usually messes it up. For one, it takes up a lot of space to have duplicates of some monsters. So the Composer app makes a separate monster for long notes (when applicable). So here's a list of things that I think could make the Composer app more enjoyable and such.ġ: Get Rid of Duplicate Monsters for Long Notes It costs about $5 USD and includes many more monsters than Composer Island, but its still missing several things (such as having more than one of each monster). So the MSM Composer app is great, but it's also got a couple flaws.
